Saturday morning, the Polish president Lech Kaczynski died in a plane crash near the Russian City of Smolensk. Foggy conditions lead to the plane trying to land twice before clipping the trees of the woods.
Ninety five others died as a cause of this as well. Including Keczynski's wife, the governor of the central bank, the head's of Poland's army, navy, air force and special forces as well as other dignitaries.
These dignitaries were on their way to a memorial service in the Kaytn forest, which was the site of the murder of more then four thousand polish officers by the Soviet Union in 1940.
While Poland and his people are in shock at this very sudden lose of their president, other countries have shown their support during this time. A number of countries had shown their concern for their fellow by stating a three day mourning period for the polish Presidents passing.
