Personality:
Austria has an air of a snobby rich young master/ aristocrat about him. He rarely speaks out what he's thinking and rarely shows his feelings except when raging at something that doesn't go his way. He also bosses anyone around with a straight face, most notably Germany. He pays more attention to his hobbies rather than work. Also, he is a person who is very concerned with only two things in the world: Cakes, and music. He can stay on the piano for hours on end playing various classical music composed by Austrian composers (Mozart is AUSTRIAN B|).

Aside from this, he is quite hot tempered and impatient, the type that is irritated at almost anything that doesn't seem right in his eyes. Although he won't admit it, he is quite fond of Prussia and Germany, his two German, err, acquaintances. Other than them, Hungary is probably the only other person who can stand his high-and-mighty attitude.

All-in-all, he has the personality of a hard-to-reach-way-up-there noble.

Appearance: Standing at about 176 cm, or 5'7", he is supposed to be the shortest of the Germans, only a little bit shorter than Prussia. Although this is the case, he is also only a few MONTHS younger than the older German though he obviously acts way more mature. He has violet eyes and short, dark-brown hair, with a lone cowlick named Mariazell sticking out. He wears thin glasses (which he states that he only wears it because he thinks without glasses make his face look plain) and has a mole on his face representing his erogenous zone. He dresses like an aristocrat; rather than wearing a military uniform like the rest of the other nations, he wears something that a noble wears: a perfectly buttoned white collared shirt, a cravat, a double-buttoned dark-blue tailcoat, black pants, and knee-high boots.

Relationships:

• Germany: These two serious Germans are extremely close, and are on very good terms. Germany is probably the only one who can take his snobby, aristocratic attitude. He is very fond of this German, and spends most of his time in his house.
  
• Prussia: Brother of Germany who he always bails out of trouble nowadays. He hates his guts, and makes sure to express his displease, but even though he won't admit it, he is still quite fond of the other.
  
• Switzerland: His childhood friend turned enemy, because of political misunderstandings. Nowadays, they don't have a very good relationship.
  
• Hungary: Another one of his childhood friends, once his wife, and now his close friend. He will do anything and sacrifice anything for her.
  
• Spain: Once his former husband (Hapsburg, anyone?), now his good friend. He was the one who had given Romano to him as a charge.
  
• France: He hates this man's advances, and always makes sure to stay FAAAR away from him.

RP Sample:

On this particular day, a certain Austrian was hurrying through the halls, agitated. His movements were faster and sharper than usual. Pointing here and there with a firm finger, he gave orders to each and every one present, his loud, firm voice ringing down through the wide hallways.

"Prepare for war, I say! The Prussiam troops have begun their attack! Protect Silesia! Set up blockades! Prepare the army!" His orders came out of his mouth, one after the other, firm and strong. He had already informed Maria Theresa of what he was about to do, so all that's left is to bring down the Prussian once and for all.

Walking briskly to his room, he slammed the door shut and sat on the edge of the bed, savoring the last moments of comfort in this house. He hated going to war; he hated the atrocities, the blood, the meager rations, the dirt...

And most of all, he hated going against Prussia.

Every time he sees the proud Prussian donned in his war clothes, all smirks and ego and looking back at him with those piercing red eyes of his, Austria's heart somehow always manages to double in speed. He couldn't understand what it was that he felt; he certainly never got that way with anyone else. He had asked for advice, mainly from Hungary, but she always said that it was only one thing, nothing else: LOVE.

Austria refused to acknowledge it as love, attributing it to his desire to see the smug smile wiped off the Prussian's face instead. He had told himself, over and over again, that his increase in heartbeat was because he was excited to give Prussia a proper beat down. He claimed that he had felt that way for a long time, since they were children, because the smug, foulmouthed kingdom was always getting on his nerves.

...Right?

Sighing, Austria put on his war clothes, fussing over his cravat. He knew that was going to be ruined in a few minutes anyway, but there's nothing wrong with looking good in front of your enemy, right? Besides, if he didn't dress well, he was SURE the Prussian would grate him for it. He didn't need any of those right now, no he didn't.

Finishing up, he got out of his room and barked some more orders. "TROOPS! PREPARE TO MOVE OUT!" Bowing to Maria Theresa politely before he left, he set out for the location of the battlefield. Again, he felt his heart speeding up. Frustrated, he clutched his chest, breathing deeply in attempts to calm down. But he couldn't.

Attempting to ignore his wildly beating heart, he got to the battlefield. Of course, the Prussian was already there, including those allies of his, France and Spain. Keeping a straight face, he shouted to the Prussian loudly, hoping his voice didn't waver, "Prussia. Let us settle this once and for all."
