SUMMARY:
Aani could very possibly be in love with both Yuu and Bambang. The problem is: which does she choose? Her childhood friend who she’s recently reconnected with? Or a new friend who she seems at peace near, especially since they share religion? After consulting Arthur (Because, let’s face it, Gupta would have killed those boys if he found out), she decides to send them each a letter. Not only is she scared of rejection, but she’s scared of acceptation, especially both either accepting or rejecting her affections. The letters are sent, it’s too late turn back, now. She can only hope and wait for responses, and (When the time comes), for a direct confrontation of both Yuu and Bambang. However, there’s trouble brewing on the horizon in a plot twist no one will see coming.
LETTERS:
THE FIRST LETTER:
Dear ya Yuu,
I know this must be.... strange, coming from someone you only knew as a child, who has recently reappeared in your life, but..... I believe I very probably have..... feelings for you.... Please, if you reject me, please don't ridicule me or tell someone else or.... Just, please look at me the same. And..... I'm really sorry if I can't.... show any intimacy before I'm married..... It's.... just the way I am....
Your friend, Aani
THE FIRST RESPONSE:
Miss Aani,
Honestly, I don’t quite know what to say. I’ve never been good at putting things into words, and you know this.I really do like you, but… Ah, screw it, Aani. I can’t just use these formalities anymore. I have strong feelings for you, and a suspicion that I had them when I was small, as well. I feel so odd even writing this… I feel the same as you, and even if I didn’t, I would have had no intention of ridiculing you. Please,
Your friend, Yuu
THE SECOND LETTER:
Dear Bambang Suparman,
I know this must be.... strange, coming from someone you have recently met, but..... I believe I very probably have..... feelings for you.... Please, if you reject me, please don't ridicule me or tell someone else or.... Just, please look at me the same. And..... I'm really sorry if I can't.... show any intimacy before I'm married..... It's.... just the way I am.... I must say I'm.... very glad to have met another Muslim.
Your friend, Aani
THE SECOND RESPONSE:
Dear Aani,
Reading your letter has brought me a smile. I too, am glad to have met you, and though the closest thing to this feeling I have now is "idolization" it feels much more gentle, yet stronger. You are one I want to protect with my life. I would not expect such intimacies in respect of you and to the Religion, all I ask is to be able to see your precious, green eyes.
Dearly, Bambang Suparman
