RULES AND REGULATIONS

Basics

• This is a literately advanced forum. Therefore, all members are required to be proficient in English speaking AND writing skills at minimum at an high school exit level. Also, members must be willing to research as they roleplay. Staying as historically accurate as possible is important in this forum-- in other words, all relationships and personalities have either historical or canon character basis.
  
• No godmodding. Under this rule applies Mary and Gary Stus. Just, no.
  
• No power-playing, either. Unless you have specifically asked the other roleplayer if you can control their character. Under this rule applies controlling characters that have not been applied for or taken. However, if you want to control a non-player character, meaning civilians or guards or whatever, feel free to do that.
  
• SEPARATE ACCOUNTS FOR EACH CHARACTER, PLEASE. And change their display names to their English country names after you're done with the application. Make sure that the country is capitalized as well.
  
• Once you have been approved as a character, PLEASE find an avatar of the character you are using and use that as your icon.
  
• EDIT REGARDING FORUM RATING: The forum is now rated-13. NO mature thread roleplays are allowed. The proboards board has pointed it out to me: read the boards rules here. I'm sorry, people, but I don't want to get this forum erased just because we violated a simple rule like that.
  
• EDIT: Due to inactivity of the forum, at least 2 forum posts per month is now required.
  
• EDIT BY ENGLAND: Due to continued inactivity (really, people, this is getting ridiculous - I'm guilty of it, too), a new minimum is being instated. Read about it here.

• This is something we've noticed that happens, and honestly shouldn't happen. This shouldn't have to be added into the rules, but we feel that it needs to be said. OUTSIDE DRAMA does not belong in your characters. If you have beef with one of the RPers, don't take it out on their characters. IC drama's fine, but OoC drama doesn't belong in the middle of character RPs.

Applications and limits

• All profiles must be looked over by two admins before complete approval.
  
• Those applying for canon characters are required to roleplay with another admin as another admin watches the rp, so they can deem if the roleplayer is worthy of that canon or not.
  
• No character limit. However, they must be remained active for, or they will be taken away.
  
• Seven days to get applications done. No exceptions. We're going to start cracking down on this rule from now on.
  
• All applications that are still on the old format must be updated to the current format.
  
• If you do not reply to Monthly check-in your characters will be placed on hold for one month. During that month, we will e-mail you and try to get in contact with you. If the next month you still do not check-in then your characters will be archived and your account deleted.

Important

• The chatbox is a fun way of rping, but it should not be the ONLY place you're rping in. We're requiring that before you can rp on the chatbox, you must have posted AT LEAST ONCE for each of your character. And we expect you all to post actively. Not constant, everyday posting, but at least show us that your writing skills are not limited to just the chatbox. WARNING: IF WE SEE THE CHATBOX BEING USED TOO MUCH FOR RPING AND THE FORUM ABANDONED, WE WILL REMOVE THE CHATBOX. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.
  
• Put HETALIA ROCKS at the end of your app. Old apps don't have to do this, but to make sure old members have at least re-read the rules, then new apps should have this new password.
