I Could Stay Lost In This Moment Forever Cause Every Moment Spent With You Is A Moment I Treasure [/b] The little dragon gave an affirmative noise before laying his head back down. Drystan chuckled to himself as he moved towards the door, waiting to hear the knock. Garden[/ul] I Don't Wanna Miss One Smile I Don't Wanna Miss One Kiss I Don't Wanna Miss a Thing - Areosmith

Angel had been away from him for a month. She'd counted every day, every second, leaving her son in the care of her brother...father..thing, Alfred. She'd been through a month of work, a new show, a new line of clothing. She sighed softly, tucking her long blond hair back as she finished packing up her things. FInally, she was going back to Wales, back to the man she loved. Her smile was bright as she gently finished up the packing. Taking her son into her arms, she kissed him carefully, before setting hi back in the arms of the man that had been taking care of him, "I'll be back soon, baby. Mama's going to see Drystan." Alfred gave her the same look he'd been for a while.
A lot of her family had given her the same look...A look that chastised her for moving so fast. It had been long enough for Angel, honestly. She'd been hurt by men enough times that she knew that the one she was with now was the one. He'd been so kind to her, and so gentle. He'd picked her up when she'd been broken, and put her back together, shown her that she wasn't just some cheap whore, like she'd almost been. He'd been there for her through the birth of the little redhead, and through...so much more. Drystan had made her feel like her namesake......An Angel.
As the flight took off, Angel drifted off into light sleep, her dreams filled with the face of the man she loved....and the words of doubt from her family. They hadn't cared that she was in love...only being told that over and over, she was being stupid, moving too fast, and was only going to get hurt again...but....she didn't believe that, and never would. As the plane landed, the young woman stood, slowly gently pulling her hair back. A pair of high-heels clicked on the floor, black, a long black skirt swishing around her ankles, and her upper body clad in a white top that flowed elegantly. She looked like a vision, as always, and when she spotted her name on a taxi-driver's sign, she giggled, holding the luggage she'd brought close. Oh, Drys!
Clibing in, she took a tiny breath, nervously watching the scenery as it passed by. She was so close to the castle! She could see it, and this brought her to leaning out the window, "Here I come..." She whispered, those blue eyes bright and eager. Letting the taxi stop first, she stepped out, feet carrying her up to the door. Here it came...She was going to see him again! Excitedly, she knocked quickly, "Calm down, Angel....Calm down..."

Then I Kiss Your Eyes And Thank God We're Together [/b] He was sure that she was probably starving, a flight like what she had taken would have been a long time, though he could tell she probably had slept on the plane since she didn't seem to suffer from jet lag, of course he knew that if he had been the one visiting her, he would have been to excited for the lag to actually truly affect him. He placed his right hand into his pocket, fingering the box that was hidden there in his slacks. He waited for her decision, waiting to give a small signal to the butler to place the food on the table or he was going to help do that while she took her shower.[/ul] I Don't Wanna Close My Eyes I Don't Wanna Fall Asleep

Angel smiled at him as he pulled her into those strong arms. As her arms wrapped about his neck, the man kissed her, and she fell into bliss. She loved the way their lips fit together, and the way her body seemed to fit perfectly against his. They seemed to be perfect for eachother in every way. Her lips gently parted to his, letting him kiss her. She didn't want to move away from him ever again, and so even when he pulled back, her arms stayed around his neck. When those fingers gently ran through her hair, Angel leaned into it, a soft, happy smile on her lips as she knew that this was more real than anything else. In that perfect moment of no speech, only one small phrase escaped her lips before he spoke, "Hey Drys."
Her head leaned on his shoulder as he mentioned that dinner was ready. Well, that was an attractive prospect! Food on the plane had been scarce, so the idea of getting to eat (especially food that Drystan prepared.) was nice. Angel took his arm gently, "I'm good on the shower. Dinner sounds like a god-send about now. Airline food can be crap." This drew another laugh from her. She didn't even notice that he'd reached into his pocket, too lost in being near him. "I've missed you so much, Drys..." Smiling lovingly, she kissed him again, enjoying the sensation of it.
They really did fit together like two pieces of a puzzle. "So what's for dinner?" She was DEFINITELY glad that Noah was with Al, so that she could have a good few weeks with Drys. Little did the blond city know what was going to happen.....know what her boyfriend had planned for this perfect night.

The Sweetest Dream Will Never Do I'd Still Miss You Babe [/b] He held the door open for her to enter through when they reached it. The terrace was before them, a very romantic setting of a small table for two with one on the side where the food was placed, ready to be served to them. The server was standing off to the side as Drystan closed the door behind the two of them and gently lead her towards her chair, pulling it out and then pushing it in. He smiled softly at her, moving to sit down at his own chair, across from hers. This prompted the server to move forward, placing a plate of salad before them as well as the pasta, served in a bowl. Once the food was served, the server took a bottle of wine that Drystan had picked out from his seller. It was a red Bordeaux he had gotten from Francis a while back. He had chosen this wine because it was right where the aging was perfect. It had been about twenty years since he had gotten it. The server handed the wine to him and Drystan opened it, pouring some first into Angel's glass and then his own. "Its about time I've been able to use this wine. I figured our first dinner together again would be the best occasion."He placed the bottle off to the side and smiled at her, reaching over to gently take her hand. He could see that the sun was starting to sink, just like he had known it would by the time they were eating. Once they were done with the main course and ready for dessert, the sun would have set and the outside lamps would come on. "Eat up my dear. I'm glad we are able to be together again." He gently let his fingers rub over her own before he removed his hand and picked up his fork, starting to eat his salad before moving on to the pasta. He hoped he had made the pasta right, at least he was a better cook then his brother, otherwise this would have been a complete disaster. That little thought made Drystan chuckle softly to himself before he glanced up to look at Angel again, finding himself, like he always did, lost in her wonderfully blue eyes.[/ul] I Just Wanna Hold You Close Feel Your Heart So Close To Mine

Standing at the edge of this cliff Gravity being what it is He'd cooked a non-native dinner? That was...The thought of it brought a brighter smile to her face, and she leaned her head against his arm as he lead her through the castle. "It's going to be delicious, I know it." She purred, "You know I love your cooking." Kissing his cheek, she wasn't expecting what she stepped out to. When the sight met her eyes, her fingers gently moved to her lips and she stared at the set up. There was a server...food....and....oh GODS...this was perfect...beautiful. Angel couldn't have thought of a more perfect date. Gently follwoing him, the young woman took her seat, letting him slide it in, and then smiling politely at the server, before taking a nibble of the salad. The next thing she noticed was the wine. The age caught her glimpe, and she smiled, in delight, "Wow....You really went all out for this, didn't you, Drys?" She asked, her eyes soft, happy. Taking a sip of the wine, she savored it, eyes fluttering shut for a moment as she took all of this in. No guy had ever gone through all this trouble for her. So much....He'd done SO MUCH for her, and it brought small tears of happiness to Angel's eyes, "Drys....I couldn't be happier." She whispered softly, starting to nibble on her pasta, having finished the salad, "I've been looking forwards to coming back all month." That was honest. She'd missed him, and her own blues were getting lost in his eyes. "This night is perfect." She murmured happily, "I couldn't ask for anything more." I’m afraid that I might stumble ‘Cause I’ve never been this high

I Just Want To Be With You Right Here With You, Just Like This [/b] It wasn't out of the ordinary for him to just do something like this, he was a romantic after all. It was what he planned to do that would make the night even more memorable. He didn't want his proposal to the woman he loved to be just random and plan, he wanted her to be able to remember it forever. It was why he had put so much work into this, to make sure it was just as perfect as her. Placing the glass down upon the table, Drystan found himself getting anxious for the first time. It wasn't because he was nervous, it was more he was so excited he was having to force himself not to just get down on his knee and ask her now. He wanted to show her the ring he had gotten, wanted to see the surprise upon her beautiful features. He wanted them to be one more step to spending their entire lives together. It took a lot of will power to force him to continue eating his food. "How is everyone back home?" He tried to keep small talk going as they ate, just so they weren't sitting in silence, even if that silence was comfortable between the two of them. His salad was finished and the pasta soon followed after. He glanced over to see how much Angel had eaten before giving the serve, who was standing off to the side, a nod of his head. A cake was brought over to them, two slices placed before the two of them before Drystan spoke. "White chocolate raspberry cheesecake. A friend gave the recipe to me." The outside lights were on and thanks to the distance the castle was from the nearest city, the stars could be seen clearly even with the lamps shinning along the walk ways. He turned his eyes to look over the terrace and at the pond, seeing the stars shinning upon the reflection of the water. His attention turned back to Angel and he saw the stars reflecting in her own eyes. It was getting close to time, so close and he found that his heart was pounding in his chest. As the time grew closer and closer, he was getting more and more excited.[/ul] And Just Stay Here In This Moment For All The Rest Of Time

And I’m so carried away by this place And the simple beauty of your face She smiled softly at him, tucking her hair back, "This is special and different. I don't think I could have asked for anything more." That was honest, and truthful. Continuing to slowly eat, she was noticing that he seemed to be very much....agitated, nervous, jittery. It was strange to her, but she'd let it slide. They hadn;t seen eachotehr in a month, after all. Taking another sip of wine, she was quiet until he asked another question, "Oh. Everyone's fine. Noah's with Al, and he's as ornery as ever. Loves kicking the old man in the face." She laughed softly, "He's going to be a handful as he gets older." It was obvious that she adored her child, every look showed it. Finishing up her pasta, she tilted her head, thinking nothing as he gave a nod of his head, finishing off her food totally. And then the cake was placed before her. Looking down at it, she looked AMAZED, staring at the cheesecake, "...You made this?" She slid her fork in, taking a slow bite, and savoring the AMAZING flavors that rushed over her tongue, "Drys, you are AMAZING at this, babe....seriously. This is really good." Angel tucked her hair back, and looked up. The stars were so clear. They reflected through her eyes, and lit up the beautiful clear blue, like the morning sky had suddenly sprouted diamonds. Her hair was tucked back again, and when her eyes met his again, she was rendered breathless. She leaned on her hand, her heart pounded hard, fast, and she touched her neck, gently. Holy shit...Why was her heart beating like this? She slowly finished up the cake, and twirled the fork between her elegant fingers, head tipping to the side. She had to ask. He was so jittery..."What's going on, Drystan? You seem really anxious tonight." When the walls start to crumble And I’m helpless to fight

I Could Stay Awake Just to Hear You Breathing Watch You Smile While You Are Sleeping [/b] He found himself blushing some at her next words and he inclined his head some. "I'm glad you like it luv."Her question took him off guard and he smiled at her. It seemed he hadn't been able to hide it but, now was the time anyways. He stood up, pushing his chair in before he moved around towards her. "I'm excited to see you again my dear." He knelt down upon one of his knees, gently placing his left hand upon her knee as his right went into his pocket and pulled out the ring box. Holding the box in his right hand, he let his eyes lift to look at her, locking them with hers before he spoke, his thumb flipping open the box as he began to speak. "Lyndsey Angelina Jones, you are the most beautiful and perfect woman upon this earth. I'm lucky that you even choose to grace me with your smile or even hear your lips form words to speak to me. So, will you do me the honor, of becoming my wife?" He hoped it wasn't long winded but he couldn't just ask her right out, he had to make it romantic, had to make it elegant, it was just in his nature. There, on his knees before her, Drystan waited.[/ul] Don't Wanna Close My Eyes I Don't Wanna Fall Asleep

And I would never try to slow down the wind Baby it just has to be what it is At first, confusion wrote itself on her face as she watched him move around the table. She accepted 'I'm excited to see you'. It had been a while, after all, and she new that likely, he really was excited. That was Drystan for you. She really was calm...up until he was suddenly in front of her...and...on his knees. Her eyes widened and her hand moved to her mouth. No way...He wasn't! As soon as he knelt upon one knee, watching her with those eyes, and a box in his hand. He was....He was! Tears began to perk at her blues as he opened the box. Her eyes moved to the ring...that beautiful ring, diamonds and silver. In shock, her fingers went down to touch it...and then he started talking. As soon as his voice reached her ears, the tears spilled over, fluttering down her pale cheeks, and making her let out a tiny sob of happiness. As soon as the last phrase "honor of becoming my wife" left his mouth, Angel's head began to bob in a 'yes'. "I'm the lucky one..." She whispered, whimpering, "I'm the lucky one, to have someone like you by my side, someone t-to help me when things get tough with Noah...a-and who loves me, despite my past..." Her smile grew, and through the tears, Angel was BEAMING, "YES, Drystan! Yes, I'll marry you!" She cried out. She couldn't be happier, her heart racing, fingers running over that stone. It was perfect. The moment, the way he asked, the way he looked at her, it was all just PERFECT! Leaning down, Angel's lips were on his, and she whispered, "I couldn't love you more, Drystan, and I am honored...more than honored...t-to be your wife!" And asking me not to love you Is like asking Niagara not to fall.

[/b] He took the ring gingerly from the box and took her left hand, sliding it onto her ring finger. He stared at it for a moment before he lifted his eyes to look at her once more. In a very quick motion, he had wrapped his arms around her again, picking her up and swinging her around, laughter escaping him. He didn't really remember the last time he had laughed like this, but it felt so great. Knowing he was going to forever be with the woman he loved. He didn't know what God or Gods were looking out for him to make this come to pass, allowing him to be with this beautiful angel, but he was grateful to them. He placed her back down onto her feet gently and brushed her hair back behind her air, kissing her lips again. "I am the luckiest man alive." He breathed these words softly as his thumb gently rubbed her cheek, his lips brushing over hers as he spoke. He kissed her again, his arms wrapping around her waist and keeping her close to him as he deepened the kiss.[/ul]

Her lips parted in a delighted laugh as he picked her up and spun her about. Her arms were around his neck, and she let her feet lit off, and she clung to him, grinning, "Lucky as hell!" She crooned happily, looking up at him as he set her to her feet. Her eyes were soft, and she couldn't help the huge grin on her face, and the tears still flowed. "Thank you so much.....It m-means the world that you want me like this...I couldn't be happier." Each kiss he pressed against her lips brought her fingers to his face, "I think I'm the lucky one."
And then....his lips pressed against hers again, and again...and her arms went around him as he held her close, letting him deepen the kiss, her own eyes closing, as she pressed close. This was perfect. She was here, under the star-lit sky with her boy-...no...her FIANCEE now! She loved this feeling, this knowledge that he loved her, wanted to hold her, be with her, and stay with her FOREVER, "Mmn..."

[/b] He gently took her right hand from around his neck and placed it in his left, starting to waltz around the terrace to silent music. "I would be crazy not to want you beside me for the rest of my life. For you to bear my children." He wondered if the last part was a bit too soon to say, but it was already out. It wasn't like he was asking for her to do it now anyways, they had all the time in the world now that they were together. Moving around the terrace to the random music, Drystan found the smile upon his lips would not be removed. He didn't know when he had felt happier in his entire life. Everything just seemed so perfect and wonderful. He stopped dancing and then picked her up, holding her bridal style, his lips pressed against hers again before he pulled back to speak. "Shall we celebrate in a different way luv?" He started to walk into the house again, moving through the living area and up the foyer stairs. He kept his eyes ahead as he walked, not wanting to trip and drop her as they moved. He pushed the door to his bedroom open with his foot and then closed it with his heel. He moved to his large king sized four poster bed and placed her down upon it before he laid himself down on top of her, his lips pressing against her. His hands moved over her body as he deepened the kiss. Fade to Black[/ul]

She let her head lay on his shoulder as they waltzed around the terrace to the silent music. Her lips parted in a quiet hum, creating the music they danced to in that perfect silence. With her body against his, and his hands gently holding her, Angel believed that everything would forever be perfect. Hell, she'd believed it for so long now. Drystan had been her savior, so as they moved, now in a relationship further than the one they'd had before, angel couldn't help but realize JUST how much she loved him. Her fingers held gently into his clothing, and she was humming still, even after he picked her up.
She giggled as he suggested another form of celebration. A bit shocked at his forwardness, she squeaked as he lifted her up into his arms, and clung tighter, actually laughing again, "Can't wait, babe." She purred, kissing him under his jaw, and slowly down his neck as he carried her to his room. She barely noticed as her back hit the bed, and her head met his in a heated kiss as her hands began to run over his back, slowly under his shirt to feel that warm skin...and strong muscles beneath her fingers. Angel lost herself to everything at that moment, and loved it...loved every second.
.........Later............
Blond hair was splayed behind her, blue eyes half closed as her head rested on his chest, the feeling of his arm around her comforting the young woman. A smile gently curled her lips, and the girl nuzzled him. Angel's gaze was drawn to that ring once again, and she let out a soft sigh. No one at wokr was going to believe that ANGEL of all people was getting married. Hell, even Alfred was gonna probably think she was crazy. She didn't care. She was happy, and in love. Her heartrate was still up, and she could feel sweat on her brow. Those blue eyes turned back up to Drystan's face. In her mind, she was memorizing every single detail of his expression right now. It was beautiful, and the young spanish-american city never wanted to forget it. "That was amazing," She murmured.
