Personality: Leonardo is certainly a man who hides behind a mask. He does not allow others to see what is truly bothering him, adopting an air of frivolity and joy even when he may be close to breaking down or rage. He believes that his emotions are his alone and that means it is no one else’s business how or what he feels. He has never let his feelings damper those of others, offering himself up as the clown, or host, to keep everyone entertained.

A perfectionist at heart, Leonardo makes sure that anything he produces is up to muster. It is one of the reasons the annual Masquerade he throws is greatly looked forward too. He makes sure it is different from the last year, and tries to make it better then before. Everything is done elaborately and he tries to make it so that you cannot tell who is who. Of course you know who your date is, if you bring one, but the mystery of who is behind what mask is what he believes makes the party more enjoyable.

Flirtation just seems to run through this Italians veins. He is a smooth talker, knowing what it is a young woman, or young man, wants to hear from a significant other. He enjoys the company of many pretty young women and men. He has not yet met someone who keeps his attention for very long and he is currently not looking. It would require removing his mask to get close enough and then, it may not even work out.

Appearance: Leonardo is a bit taller then the other Italians, being only a few inches taller, though he has found him self slouching(caused by the sinking). His hair is a dark brown and his eyes are brown as well. He is very slender and prefers to wear clothes with a sophisticated look to them. He has very slender fingers, perfect for playing piano or violin. His expression normally carries a smile upon his face, though this mask breaks from time to time when he is alone or with someone very close to him.

Relationships:
Feliciano Vargas/North Italy: Leonardo is underneath Fratello Feliciano. He cares for his fratello, though he knows and has seen how forgetful he can be. He does enjoy spending time with him, and enjoys his very easy going nature. It helps Leonardo in reminding him to let himself go every one in a while.

Romano Vargas/South Italy: Though he does not spend much time with Romano, Leonardo cares for him because he is family. He worries about him from time to time and wants to try and help him, though does not like when he can't.

Righe Vargas/Napoli, Italy: Leonardo enjoys spending time with Righe. The two of them have things in common, especially the love of pretty women and having fun.

Adrianna Milan/Milan, Italy: Knowing of Milan's fashion expertise has helped Leonardo out on a few occasions. He normally will go to her if he wants a very elaborate costume created for a masquerade or for his annual Carnival.
