[/b] He gave the man a bit of money before telling him how to take him to his house. Once that was done, he opened the door for Angel and then slipped in himself. The ride was very uneventful, and he planned on taking his own car for their date, no need to rely upon cabs when he had his own form of transportation anyways. Once the cab had stopped in front of an old castle, Drystan slipped out and held the door for Angel again. He paid the cabby and took her suitcase out of the trunk before glancing at her. "Welcome to my home. Its a bit drafty at times, but its home, one of the only castles that isn't completely in ruins." He waited for what she was going to say about his home as he lead her to the doors, Uther flying off towards one of the towers.[/ul]

He paid....he carried her things...paid for the cab. So many men had only paid for a motel, and she'd never seen them again. This was amazing. Her head lay on his shoulder throughout the car ride down there, and she enjoyed the fact that this was so calm and even. There was nothing huge...nothing strange....just...the two of them. Just Drystan and Angel....two people, two people who, as Angel thought, just seemed to understand eachother. When they arrived on the castle grounds, she stepped out of the car, studying the...stunning castle.
Moving with him as they entered the structure, Angel wondered at the immaculate stone, her eyes soft and happy, "Drys....It's beautiful." Her feet moved carefully across the ground, and she stood, looking at the structure, still holding onto his arm. She wondered at how he could live in such a drafty place alone....she would have gone insane years ago. It was why Angel lived in a small one-story on the LA Coastline. It meant sun, surf, and a warm cozy....homey feeling. She couldn't imagine living in a castle alone.

She smiled at him, watching him as he took her hand and lead her into the main hall. The castle itself was like stepping back into time, and stepping into a modern day castle, her eyes soft and warm as she studied the thing. Truth be told, Angel was too used to the modern hotels and domiciles, far too used to them, and they'd become nothing more than tedium, something she knew and though she loved them....they had become a dull piece of her life. When one was a model, they didn't get much of a chance to stay in a place like THIS.
This place, she could FEEL the history dripping off the walls, and it made her heart swell, and beat just a little faster at the thoughts of what went on in these old halls, what she couldn't see, and the ghosts that might haunt these halls. Smiling as Uther made a noise at them to pay attention to him, Ange spoke, "Good job, Uther. Look at you~ So strong." Taking his arm, she lay her head on his shoulder, smiling up at him, "I would like that, Drys. I love walking coastline, and this is going to be...amazing." Oh was it ever. Standing side by side with him, she moved slowly, looking about.

Angel's eyes went wide as she looked around the room. The first word that came to mind was sheer perfection. She moved from his side, fingers fluttering over bedspread, wall, couch, tv, closet door.....and then her head turned to the bathroom. STARING in amazement at the tub and the arrangement, her eye then turned to Drystan, "You....are seriously incredible, Drystan..." Her heart soared and she felt a smile flutter up onto her lips, bringing an expression of sheer joy.
Angel couldn't help it. Even pregnant and getting over the asshole who'd dumped her, she knew that Drys was the kind of guy she could see herself staying with. Angel hoped he felt the same, because she did NOT want to leave him. "I'lll...be out in a bit." Closing the bathroom doors behind her, Angel's heart was pounding, and the grin on her face could rival that of the cheshire cat. What a perfect day....and it wasn't even half over.
Doors closing, Angel slid her body into the tub, eyes fluttering shut in pleasure at the feeling of the hot water now splashing down from the faucet. To be honest, she was looking at herself as she did so, at her body....how it was changing. She somehow still retained her smaller figure, knowing that once she'd finished with the baby, she'd go right back to a size 4. Touching that swell of her stomach with those long fingers, she let them flutter over it, as she hummed to her son-to be. Oh, She knew it was going to be a boy. MOther's intuition was almost never wrong.
"You'll love this world, little one." She murmured, a flush lighting her face as she felt a kick in response. That kick brought a happy flush to her face, and she giggled softly. He was going to be perfect. Kissing her hand, then her stomach, Angel felt her heart swell in pride. Even without seeing him, she knew. Her son was perfect. Not Alex's son. HER son. Hers....and maybe Drystan's too.... No NONONO. Banishing the thought (way too soon, Ange), she slowly actually took her bath.
Once it was finished, she rooted through her bags, before finding a beautiful white dress of another cut, a little more of a true sundress, instead of cut to show off what was (still) growing. It also fell to her calves, leaving her to put on pretty white sandals that laced up to go with it. Once satisfied, with her long, flowing golden hair now tied up in a ponytail (like this girl even needed makeup), she walked from the room, smiling shyly, "What do you think, Drys?"

[/b] He cast his eye around the room on his own before he turned his head back to her and nodded it, bowing slightly at his waist, a very old habit, as he backed out of the room. "Take as long as you wish." How much the word love wished to come off his tongue but he bit it back. It was too early to say something like that. This was possible the first relationship that he had had in a very long time and he did not want to ruin it. Once the door was closed, Drystan glanced at Uther before tilting his head to the left, the two of them moving down the hallway. Since she was getting ready and changing, he decided he should as well. His clothes weren't very clean from the work he had been doing this morning before going for that walk. Walking down the long hall, Drystan paused some as he glanced at a certain picture on the wall. It was a portrait, a very nicely painted portrait of the countryside from many years ago. Instantly his mind turned to Mercia and the child he would have had with her. It was an animosity between them that turned to love when ale took the best of them and they had created life. Not that it had lasted long. She had been killed along with the child who had never had the chance to be born. Drystan quickly jerked his head away from the painting, his fists clenching as he found himself shaking. It got to him more then all the fighting he had done, standing in fields stand with blood. Uther sensed his worry and moved to nuzzle against him, causing Drystan to open his eyes, a soft smile forming as he looked at the baby dragon and gently pet his head. "I'm alright." With one more glance, he forced himself to push those memories aside before he moved down a few more doors and into his own bedroom. Opening the closet door, Drystan grabbed a pair of black slacks and a nice button down shirt. It was a deep red color, almost that of red wine. Stripping out of his old clothes, he couldn't help but glance down at his body, seeing all the scars that crossed him. His land, he had been through so much through the years and the scars were what he had to show for it, for him to remember. He knew what each scar was, what battle stood for which one, but now was not the time for him to dwell upon the past, there was a beautiful woman in the present who could very well make his future the happiest ever. Dressed once again, Drystan moved out of his room and back down to hers, just in time to see her come out. He found himself speechless. Her golden locks were pulled back into a pony-tail allowing him to see all of her beautiful face, see how her nose curved, how bright her eyes were, her full lips. Her dress didn't help matters either, it was almost as if she had stepped right from heaven and into his home. A very cliche thought, even to his mind, but it was what he was seeing. She was beautiful, no gorgeous, in every sense of the word. The stars could not even surpass her beauty. Forcing himself to swallow once she had spoken to him and asked him what he thought, as well as realizing he hadn't been breathing for a few seconds, he moved towards her. "You look amazing." He spoke in a breathy tone, trying to regain his breath as it had been completely stolen from him. Standing completely straight, he offered his arm to her. "I am very fortunate to be able to show you my homeland." Drystan suddenly found himself nervous for a few moments. Would be actually be able to show this Angel, this beautiful woman, how he truly felt? Why did a man such as he deserve someone as wonderful and perfect as her? Feeling his heart fluttering in his chest, he quieted the voices in his mind before he turned his head to look at her, flashing her a dazzling smile before speaking once more. "Shall we?"[/ul]

Her eyes glanced at him when she saw him in the hall. Angel couldn't lie, her heart nearly stopped in her chest as her eyes met those of the man who she'd fallen for all too quickly. His dark shirt....those dark slacks.....oh...it suited him far too well, and her mind insisted that no man should be able to do this to her. Smiling a bit as she saw him staring, her face softly flushed, a tint of pink on those softly tanned cheeks. Just the way those eyes gazed at her....it made her feel like someone was seeing her for something more than she was. As if he were looking at an angel. Her hand rested gently over the swell of her stomach, caressing the restless child, who was bumping about like a rollercoaster.
Then...she heard his breathy tone, and this brought forth a sweet giggle, a sound of pleasure from the young woman that was far too uncommon. The arm offered to her was accepted, her own thin arm gently wrapping through his, and she gazed up at him with those beautiful blues loving. Her fingers graced against his skin, and she let her head gently lay against his shoulder. She could hear the voices in her head teasing her for this. For how easily she was trusting this man. Angel was still thinking of herself like used goods, like some useless piece of trash that one man had thrown away. This man...This man had picked her up and was making her feel like a treasure, some diamond in the rough that was worth the keep. Her eyes watered slightly as she thought about that. Her mind berated her so hard.
Taking a slow breath, she looked up, trying to quiet the voices in her own head as they started to yell at her again, reminding her that she was never going to amount to anything beyond what she was. There was one thing she knew in this moment. Right now, right here....she was perfect to someone. To someone whose opinion meant something to Angel...something more than the words of the voices in her own mind.
"I think we shall."

[/b] Drystan didn't want anything to ruin her time here, he wanted to make sure she enjoyed herself. The restaurant he picked out was a nice place, and it also tended to have a romantic feel to it. The food encompassed European to Mediterranean, allowing her to have whatever she pleased. Upon reaching the building in the city of Cardiff, Drystan parked the car and stepped out. Moving to open the door for Angel, ever acting the gentleman. He smiled at her as he closed the door, holding his arm out to her again. He lead her inside, smiling and speaking to the host before he lead Drystan and Angel to a nice and cozy little area. Drystan pulled the chair out for Angel, lightly pushing her closer to the table after she had sat down. He moved to his own chair and sat down. The host placed menu's before them and then moved off, going to get a waiter. Drystan glanced at Angel, waiting to see her reaction.[/ul] Send Your Love - Sting
