Antonio Carriedo -Spain-
" You know you like that Ass"
Name: Antonio Carriedo Origin: Madrid Spain Gender: Male Orientation: Lovi-sexual Religion: Roman Catholic Birthday: January 2nd, 1492 Age: 23 Languages spoken: Spainish, English, Italian
Personality: Antonio is a very laid back person who tends to take all things with a grain of salt. He is a very loving person who enjoys spending time with his family. There are very few times where he is not calm and collected. When his family is threatened he reverts to one of the states in his past of being the mindset he had in his Conquistador days or his Inquisition days. There are very few things that cause him to revert to those states but you want to keep him away from those causes as he is terrifying in those states.
In his happy state he is very touchy and like to be around Lovino as well as other people. The way that he deals with this is generally to literally hang on to Lovino and not let go. When he does this while being adorable or pathetic to most people it just tends to piss Lovino off. So the hanging only tends to last around a few minutes before he stops then a few minutes of staring after Lovi lovingly before clinging again.
However when he is one of the past mindsets he acts completely different from the way he acts when he is in his normal mindset. Unlike the way that he normally acts when he is in one of those mindsets he can be set off with just a mere glance at him wrong. He is prone to attacking anything that makes him angry with an ax /whip depending on the mindset he is in. The only way to get him out of this mindset is to send Lovino to him and hope that Lovino is going to help.
Likes: * Lovino * Feliciano * His Colonies (even if they don't like him) * Prussia * Tomatoes * His family * His Friends * His Pet Bull * Turtles
Dislikes: * Arthur * Potatoes * Reminders of his Conquistador Past. * What he has caused in the lives of his children. * People who try to take Lovi away from Him * When Lovino is angry.
Appearance: Antonio has green eyes the color of the leaves on the top of a tomato. One of the ways to tell how exactly Antonio is feeling is by watching his eyes the more hard his eyes appear to be the angrier he is. He has soft brown hair that just barely brushes his neck and gains a slight reddish tint when the sun shines on it just right. his skin has a sun-kissed glow to it from all the time he spends out in the sun tending to his tomato plants.
His outfits are very simple not going very overboard on any sort of decoration or color tending to stay in the browns and other neutral colors. the only times he wears other colors are when he is going to something more formal or is thinking back on his younger days.
Relationships: South Italy: Lovino is the love of his life. The little Italian that he has raised since getting him from Austria holds a very close plce to his heart. Lovino is the only one that has been able to make Antonio revert back to his normal form after changing mindsets. He will do anything to make him happy and has been know to even stop doing something if Lovi is showing signs of actually disliking anything that he is doing.
North Italy: Feliciano is one of Spain's favorite country's due to being the brother of Lovi. He tries to keep his interest from Lovino because he know how easily that Lovi gets jealous. Antonio will try to keep Feli happy because he know that having a happy Feli means that Lovi will be happy as well. The way that he tends to do this is by making sure Feliciano never runs out of pasta supplies.
England: One of Antonio's worst enemy's, ever since Arthur basically destroyed his armada. Spain has had a hate for Arthur. While it has been a very long time since this has happened he still holds a grudge against Arthur. He knows that it has been a long time since this has happened. In Antonio's mind he knows that he will have to make amends with him soon and that is fine with him at them moment.
Austria: Spain thinks of Roderich as a friend of his. Because of the closeness during the Hapsburg era even though Spain was opposed to it at first he finds that Austria tends to have a better idea of what to do on certain subjects than he himself does. He considers Roderich to be good person to go to for advice. Antonio thinks very highly of Roderich due to these things.
His Colonies: His colonies hate him, he knows this and he knows that there is almost no way that his colonies will ever look up to him as a father no matter how much he wants them to. The most that he can do at the moment is try to to get them to at least look at him an a good light. He does everything that he can to try and get this to happen and he will continue to do so for however long it takes.
