Personality:

A good word to describe Alma would be 'stubborn'. She's got that Latin fire and spice that makes her obstinate and a bit strong-willed. Once she makes her mind up on something, she's immovable on it and refuses to change her opinion. It's easy to write her off as thick-skulled on this, really - but there is definitely more beyond said stubbornness.

Alma is also one of the more level heads in South America, between the reclusive Ecuador and the much, much more arrogant Chile (to name a couple). As one of the first of her family to declare independence from Spain, she feels an elder-sister bond toward most of them, despite Evita's being older than her. She loves her family dearly beyond the craziness, and will protect them no matter what the cost.

Relationships:

Belize: She raised Toni since he was around 12, and thinks of him as a younger brother. She's always had a good relationship with him, and though she's frustrated that he knows very little Spanish, she overlooks it as much as is possible.

Argentina: Her elder hermana. She doesn't know where she'd be without the other Latina around, and they both support each other. There's almost a 'sister connection' between them, that allows things to be said without being verbalized (if that makes sense). In any case, she loves Evita dearly, and wishes only the best for her.

Chile: Alma is actually one of the few who can stand Chile's arrogance. Their relationship is strong if nothing else, and they're relatively good friends. (She still thinks he's a bit of an idiot, though. Ssh.)

Colombia: ... This one's much more complicated. To say that Alma hates Manuel would be one of the biggest understatements of the century. They've had several disputes in the past over criminals and territory, which might have something to do with both of them being part of the 'Gran Colombia' territory. Sibling rivalry is putting it simply.
