DRYSTAN JONES -CYMRU-
" Wales is an old land with wounds that weep in hills. They wept before in the bodies of men and in the hearts of women and time will never heal them."
Name: Drystan Cystenian Jones Origin: Wales Gender: Male Orientation: Bisexual Religion: Church in Wales(Anglican church) Birthday: March First, 1075 Age: Twenty Seven Language Spoken: Welsh, English
Personality: Drystan is the oldest out of the British Isles. Being the oldest, Drystan is a bit wiser then his younger siblings. He is also a bit more in touch with his heritage. He is one of the celtic nations and is considered by his people to be the True Briton.
Compared to Ireland, Scotland and England; Wales doesn’t let his temper show as much as he use to. Over the years, he has grown a bit melancholy, reverting to his music and heritage. Though it does take a lot to actually trigger his temper, which does not mean he is a pushover. He has been known to attack and have a hard time knowing when to stop when his temper has gotten the best of him. This is another reason why he has forced himself to have a slower temper trigger.
Writing poetry, playing music and singing songs has become a part of Drystan’s pastimes. He does spend some time still practicing any of his fighting skills, but he does not spend that much time on it. He enjoys reading history books, reliving the past that he sometimes wishes that he could go to again.
When it comes to women and relationships, Drystan is very Chivalrous when it comes towards the women he courts. He does not make a move to kiss the woman on her lips, until she either asks or gives him a very clear sign. He will stick to kissing either her cheek, forehead or hand. Drystan is also a romantic and it comes from his poetic side. He enjoys doing whatever he can for the women he dates as well as flowering them with the gifts that he believes fit them.
Appearance: Drystan is about five eleven and weighs around 155 pounds. His hair is brown and a bit shaggy like most in his family. Instead of the normal bushy brows that seem to plague the British Isle families, Drystan’s are tamed, he keeps them groomed to keep him looking groomed, though he would never admit that to anyone.
Relationships: England: Drystan’s youngest brother. He tries to get along with Arthur nowadays, but there is a bit of tension between them, most of them involving disdain from Drystan. He speaks to Arthur almost only in Welsh, trying to annoy him. He is a bit protective over his youngest brother, but he wouldn’t admit it.
Scotland: When it comes to Scotland, wales and him butt heads almost constantly. Wales knows Scotland looks down on him for not being a brawler almost constantly. Wales doesn’t normally talk about this, knowing that he could easily brawl if he wished, he just grew out of it with his age.
Los Angeles: When it comes to Angel, Drystan has fallen hard and fast. He first met her when she was with his brother, Alex, and he tried his best not to acknowledge any feelings he had for her. She was a very beautiful woman, one that he did not believe would give him the time of day because she was interested in Alex. Of course, that seemed to change after Alex and Angel broke up, Angel being pregnant with Alex's child. The two ran into one another in Drystan's home country and he offered her to stay at his place and allow him to take care of her. There was an instant attraction for him towards her once again and this time, he allowed those feelings to show. He cares for her very deeply and would easily lay down his life for her.
